My name is Andrea, and I have defined my career by encouraging confidence and success in mathematics for all of my students.  My experience includes 23 years in mathematics education: at the middle school, high school, and college level.  I firmly believe that everyone can understand and appreciate this beautiful subject, and I aim to help my students develop their skills not only in mathematical concepts but also as critical thinkers.  My instructional approach is personal, patient, passionate, and professional.  I am thrilled to share my love of mathematics with my students and to see their growth as life-long learners.

I have been tutoring off and on since I was a teenager and consider it my first job and my favorite type of teaching.  I love working one-on-one and in small group settings, especially when I see a light of comprehension flash in a student’s eyes! I have over ten years of experience teaching college-level mathematics, from pre-algebra to introductory proof-based courses and everything in between! I would also say remedial math education and online learning are my fortes.

Most of my career has been working with 2nd to 5th-grade students. However, I have experience working with young children all the way to high school. Hello, my name is Dylan! I am a college student currently studying mechanical engineering and thus have much experience in mathematics. Through my academics, I have developed a love for mathematics and hope to impart some of that love to the students I tutor. 

I graduated from the IB Program at Strawberry Crest High School and am currently in my second semester of college. Throughout my education, I have taken all standard math courses through Calculus 3 and am able and willing to tutor in all of them. Additionally, I work in the Math Lab at my college, which has given me some extra experience in tutoring my peers in mathematics.

My background includes a strong foundation in education, having worked as a substitute teacher and tutor specializing in Reading and Mathematics. I have worked with clients with diverse diagnoses and communication challenges, and I am passionate about helping students succeed. Hi!  My name is Janet!  I have been an early childhood teacher for over 20 years.  I taught kindergarten and first grade for 11 years in the public school system. I also taught  VPK (Pre-Kindergarten) at a private school for 9 years.

I enjoy teaching young children early reading and writing skills, and I especially enjoy helping them develop a lifelong love of reading!
